Cauliflower is a wonder vegetable, but pretty bland on it’s own. I stumbled across a recipe in a magazine (sorry, I’ve forgotten which one!) and modified slightly for our tastes.
Although the original instructions were for a whole head of cauliflower, just two of us would never eat that much. I usually cook 1/3-1/2 of a head, depending on the size, and scale down the ingredients if need be. Ingredients are probably things you already have in your pantry.
If there doesn’t seem to be enough sauce to toss the florets, add a little more oil.
Smoky Cauliflower
a few ingredients convert bland cauliflower into a smoky tasty morsel!
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets of equal size
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
Instructions

in a large bowl, mix together the oil, paprika, salt and garlic.

Add cauliflower and toss to coat the florets.

Spread on a baking sheet. Bake 400F for 10 minutes. Stir once or twice during baking.

Place in a serving bowl and sprinkle with the parsely.
